Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a leading specialty of dentistry which involves the diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of diseases, defects, injuries, and deformities involving the mouth and facial region.  A degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training.

As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Payne manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Payne practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant Procedures to Wisdom Tooth Removal and Surgical Removal of Teeth.  He can also diagnose and treat Oral Pathology, Facial Pain, Facial Injuries, and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Payne’s office is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).  His office was the twelfth oral surgery office in the nation, and the second oral surgery office in the state of Florida to meet the high standards of this independent accreditation organization.  His office is the only AAAHC accredited oral surgery office in Naples, Florida.  For nearly four decades, being accredited by this organization has been the highest form of public recognition a health care organization can receive for the quality of care it provides.  Being accredited also demonstrates Dr. Payne’s dedication to providing the highest quality of care and service to their patients.
